WOMEN’S AUSTRALIAN OPEN

With participation and interest in women’s golf at an all-time high, the moment is right to restore the Women’s Australian Open as a standalone event.

Australia has a rich tradition of producing world-class female golfers, and the Australian Open remains the pinnacle of professional golf in this country. Its honour roll features some of the greatest names in the game, including Karrie Webb, Annika Sörenstam, Nelly Korda and Lydia Ko.

The tournament will be contested at Adelaide’s iconic Kooyonga Golf Club from March 12–15 and will feature on both the Ladies European Tour and WPGA Tour of Australasia schedules. The champion will be awarded the prestigious Patricia Bridges Bowl.
